Mikki Suvia

has been a guitarist and musician since 1984, and he gravitated toward the mandolin in 2007. Since then, he has dedicated himself to studying, understanding, and building the finest instruments he can.

Lambs Mandolins grew from a deep infatuation with this iconic instrument—an infatuation that continues to grow. From his workshop in sunny California, Mikki handles every stage of the build himself, from selecting premium woods to shaping each component by hand.

Philosophy

Lambs Philosophy

Driven by a deep respect for tradition, the work is guided by methods that have endured because they are right, not because they are easy. There is a constant pursuit of refinement—an insistence on precision, patience, and doing things at the highest possible level. At its core, it is about honoring the craft through discipline and building something meaningful, one deliberate step at a time.

Our Process

Our Process

A highly refined process guides every step, carried out with meticulous care and precision. Each detail is approached with discipline, intention, and a deep sense of artistry.

Our build materials

Build Materials

Every material is chosen with intention, from the finest woods to the smallest hardware details. Tuners, frets, and inlay elements are individually selected to meet the same exacting standards as the process itself.
